Mrs. Efe A. Clark-Omeru

HON. HRM (Queen) Efe Alexandra Clark-Omeru was born on 6th October, 1972 at Kiagbodo Town, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. She graduated from the University of Benin, Edo State in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Anthropology. She also holds a Diploma in Social Work from the University of Benin. She did her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) at the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), Warri, Delta State, from 1998-1999.
HON. HRM (Queen) Efe A. Clark-Omeru joined the Nigerian Foreign Service (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) as a Third Secretary on 13th February 2001 and attended the 16th Regular Course of Foreign Service Academy from September 2003 – August 2004. The Officer rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Director in the space of twenty years. She has served both at Headquarters, State House and our Missions abroad, namely, London, United Kingdom; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Pretoria, the Republic of South Africa. She has acquired valuable professional work experience as shown below;
 She was Charge d’Affaires Ad Interim (CDA a.i) at the Nigerian High Commission, Pretoria, Republic of South Africa 2021 before her appointment as Nigeria’s Consul-General for Littoral and West Regions of the Republic of Cameroon in February 2021;
 Charge d’Affaires Ad Interim (CDA a.i)/Head of Chancery (HOC), Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Buenos Aires, Argentina, with concurrent accreditation to Chile, Peru and Uruguay from April, 2016 – August 2017;
 Chief Protocol Officer to the Former First Lady H. E. (Mrs.) Patience Jonathan August 2010 to May 2015;
 She was a member of the Presidential Committee on Economic Reforms for the Republic of Togo in 2006;
 She also served as a member Committee on Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) signing, between the Government of Nigeria and the United Kingdom on Belleview Airline at the Nigerian High Commission, London, United Kingdom, 2007;
 Also, a Member Committee on Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) signing, between the Government of Nigeria and the United Kingdom on Arik Air at the Nigerian High Commission, London, United Kingdom, 2008; and also, member planning Committee during President Muhammadu Buhari State Visit to the Republic of South Africa, October, 2019;
 HON. HRM (Queen) E. A. Clark-Omeru was a member of Nigeria’s delegation to numerous Conferences/Summits including Presidential Delegation to United Nations General Assembly, New York, United States, September, 2010; United Nations General Conference on Climate Change in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, June 2013; UN-Habitat Conference, on Shelter, Naples, Italy, September 2013; She has also accompanied the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. (DR.) Goodluck Jonathan and the former First Lady, H. E. (Mrs.) Patience Jonathan on Official and State visits to several countries;
 She attended a Course on Sociology and International Terrorism at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, December, 2006 and was nominated by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for a Course on Labour and Employment Relations in Global Economy, in Noida, India, November 2011.
 she has also served as Political, Economic, Trade and Investment and Multilateral Desk Officer in different Departments of the Ministry and at post;
HON. HRM (Queen) Efe A. Clark-Omeru is married to the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Michael G. Omeru, JP and are blessed with children.
